Wilmer Green Jr. was born September 8, 1965, to Wilmer Sr. and Mildred Taylor Green in Houston, Texas. He accepted Christ at an early age and sang with his mother and, sisters in a gospel group known as the Green Family.
Wilmer graduated from Huntsville High School in 1985. He was well known for his athleticism in football and track. He attended Texas A&I in Kingsville, Texas, where he played football. After college, Wilmer joined the United States Army. After he departed from the U.S. Army, Wilmer worked as a truck driver. He was known as the jack of all trades. He resided in Matagorda County until his egress from earth.
Wilmer transitioned peacefully on December 23, 2021. His father and his oldest sister: Phyllis Marie Green preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Mildred Taylor-Green; of Huntsville, Texas; daughter: Autumn Nicole Green; sisters: Mary Ann Green, Jennifer Glaze (Willie Lee), Wilma Jean Freeman (Gary); all from Huntsville, Texas and baby sister: Patricia Ann Green; of Galveston, Texas; six uncles, two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Wilmer will be genuinely missed by family and friends.
