Viola Lynett Young

Viola (Vie) Young was born on May 4, 1966, to parents, Alberta Tubbs Johnson and Herman Young, in Huntsville, Texas.

Viola accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Demarcus Howard.

Viola earned her Associate of Science in Business Management degree from American Intercontinental University. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. It all brought her great comfort.

Viola leaves three children on earth; Santrell Perkins, Stanley Perkins, and Santoria Perkins; grandchildren: Jarell Perkins, Richard McClellan, Jr., Darrius McClellan, Ahmea Perkins, Elise Perkins, Skuyler Patrick, Zy’aire Perkins, and Zion Perkins; siblings: Belinda Young, Herman Young, Jr., Mary Young, Herman Young III and Latoya Sanders.

Viola is now with her mother: Alberta Johnson; Darren Young, and grandson: Xzavier Perkins.
