Valree Lewis Scott was born on January 11, 1940 to Godfrey Scott and Annie Riles Scott, in Huntsville, Texas.
Valree was joined in holy matrimony to the former Johnnie Faye Isaac. To this union one son Anthony Scott, was born.
Valree, or Lewis as many knew him, was a very hard worker. His work ethics was shown through his jobs with the City Huntsville and Walker County.
Valree’s church affiliation was with Wesley Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Valree was preceded in death by his parents: Godfrey and Annie Scott; son: Anthony Wayne Scott Sr.; grandson: Anthony Wayne Scott, Jr.; three brother, and five sisters.
Valree leaves in God’s care, his devoted wife: Johnnie Faye Scott; grandson: Roman Scott; great grandson: Messiah Scott; brother: Henry Scott; daughter-in-law: Kia Scott, and a host of other relatives and friends.
