Tiwana Leeann Jefferson was born on August 1, 1981, to Thomas and Mary Diane Jefferson, in Huntsville, Texas.
Tiwana received her formal education through the Huntsville Independent School District. She graduated in 1998 from Huntsville High School. Following graduation she attended Prairie View A&M, where she studied and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Her work history included working for TDCJ for many years. At the time of her passing she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, in Conroe, Texas.
Tiwana’s church affiliation was with New Beginnings Praise and Worship Church, under the leadership of Rev. James E. White.
Tiwana’s pastime was spent doing what she really loved, and that was singing.
Those that preceded her in death include her father; grandparents: Charlie, Sr. and Annie Rose Williams, Willie and Annie Bell Jefferson.
Tiwana leaves in God’s care, her children: Jaylon Sherwood and A’Brianna Sherwood; mother: Mary Diane James; stepfather: Freestone James (who raised her as his own); siblings: Jamor James (Ty) and Nastasia James; uncles: Charlie Williams, Jr. (Anita) and Eddie Lee Williams (Katrina); aunts: Carol Jefferson and Willie Jefferson, and a host of additional relatives and friends.
