Stafford James Harris, Jr. was born on October 5, 1966, to Stafford, Sr. and Lelia Mae Murphy-Harris, in Houston, Texas.
Stafford received his formal education in the Houston Independent School District. He attended Jack Yates High School, where he excelled in the band. His hard work led him to the top position as drum major.
Stafford was an extremely smart individual. He completed his education by receiving his GED, after he stopped going to school his 2nd semester his senior year. What made this moment so special, was that he did no studying for his exam. He passed the first time around with no problem.
Stafford had a love for music that led him to enjoy a genre of music. He also enjoyed collecting clothes that included his cowboy boots and hats. In his words, “ I am a cowboy because I have my boots and hats.” He enjoyed his truck, playing on the domino app, where he would play games with people online and talk plenty of trash after he beat them. But most of all he loved his family.
Those that have been left in God’s care include his wife of 34 years: LaSanja Harris, children: Knexie Harris, Keyshun Harris and Stafford Harris III; sisters: Vernessa Harris and Teffiny (Claude) Brown; mother: Lelia Mae Murphy-Harris; grandson: Roman Adonis Harris, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
