Shirley Faye Granville was born to Jimmy W. Granville and Jessie M. Granville, on October15,1961, in Dallas, Texas. She was the 2nd youngest of 6 children.
Shirley was a devoted Christian and joined church at an early age. She attended church in Temple, Huntsville, and Trinity. Her final membership was at Lone Star Baptist Church, in Trinity, Texas, under the leadership of Rev. Issac DeBose.
Shirley spent the majority of her career working in environmental services for schools and medical facilities. Even after her retirement, her dedication to help continued as she routinely assisted in the management of care at medical facilities.
Shirley was known as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a great cook and gifted with the ability to cook diverse dishes from numerous cultures.
Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Viola, and brothers R.J., and Stoney Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Lawrence (Erica), Jim (Heather), Benjamin (Yolanda), Jonathan, Jessica (Guillermo Jr.), Daniel; sisters: Selester and Norris; grandchildren: Seraiah, Lawrence Jr., Lawrenn, Jordin, Guillermo III, Giovanni, Judah, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
