Sharra Williams was born to Lottie Mae Simmons Williams and L.S. Green on January 4, 1985 in Galveston, Texas. Sharra Williams was a graduate of Livingston High School. Sharra later moved to Conroe, Texas. She attended job corps.
Sharra had a strong loving bond with her mother, Lottie Williams, who preceded her in death.
Sharra accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Livingston Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Reverend Chimney. She grew up as an active member of Livingston Church of Christ until she moved to Conroe, Texas. She then joined Abundance of Blessings Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Terry Diamond.
Sharra loved serving the Lord. Her favorite verse was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Sharra wrote this to herself in her weight loss journey. This verse is so indicative of the life that Sharra lead. It didn’t matter where Sharra was in her weight loss journey or life’s journey, she always generated the feeling that she wasn’t going to let anything stand in her way.
Sharra possessed a loving persona about her and never met a stranger. She always greeted everyone with her infectious smile. She enjoyed living life and sharing her love with everyone. Sharra had a special affection for children and often babysat. She will be fondly remembered as the” life of the party”. Sharra was also crafty and liked sewing and crocheting. She eventually tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit by selling ventilation masks and t-shirts.
Sharra was preceded in her death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memories: special friend: Otis Jefferson; siblings: Aiken Williams Wyatt (Charles), Mary Wallace, Mary Lister, Myra Green, Bobbie Ruth Green, Faye Green, Jettie Green and Ellis Green; aunt: Georgia Simmons Hood (Juan), Uncles: Alfred Simmons (Andra), Joe Nathan Simmons, James Edward Simmons and Titus Simmons (Debra); niece: Charmonica Wyatt; nephew: Chardarrius Wyatt; godchildren: Jayden Goodjoint, Kennedi Payne, Kaleb Dirden and Lania Harrell, and a host of additional relatives and friends.
