Patricia A. (Kirk) Schelnick

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Patricia “Trisha” Ann Schelnick, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Trisha passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at age 61. Her passing was due to stroke complications. She will forever be remembered with love by all who knew her.

Born on December 20, 1964, to Arvel L. Kirk and Eva L. Kirk in Houston, Trisha was the wife of William “Billy” Schelnick, with whom she shared many years of life together.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy, her children, Matthew D. Kirk, Nikita N. Montanez, and Jennifer R. Kirk; her six grandchildren; her brothers, Robert Kirk and Frankie Kirk; and many other family members and friends.

As we remember Trisha, we are reminded of her love for nature, her amazing cooking skills, and her love for chihuahuas. Her presence and the memories she created with family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Loved ones and friends are invited to come together to honor Trisha’s memory and reflect on her life. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be scheduled at a later time. Please contact Matthew or Nikita for more information.
