Nancy Lee (Smith) Stubblefield

On October 9, 1949 a baby girl was born to the late James and Lizzie Harrison Smith in Coldspring, Texas. They named her Nancy Lee Smith, she was the fifth child of this union.

Nancy received her formal education at Sam Houston High School in Huntsville, Texas. She was a proud member of the class of 1968.

Nancy accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was a member of Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dennis McKnight. At the time of her passing she was under watch care with Life Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Rev. Roland C. Oliphant. 

Nancy departed this earthly life on December 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lizzie Smith; sisters: Jeanetta Smith, Florida Johnson and Lillie Reece.

Nancy had many skills with the latest being a tax preparation specialist at her company, Nancy’s Tax Service.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 31 years: Eldridge Stubblefield; daughter: Yolanda Smith; sons: Ronald Ross and Craig Allen (Mary); grandchildren: Keildrana Goodall, LaDarius Allen and Craig Allen Jr.; god-children: LeTavia Mack, Julius Mack, Jeremiah Mack, Aaron Mack, Brian Watson, Chris Watson, Brandon Reece and Patricia Justice; sisters: Helen Tucker, Rosetta Moore (James), Linda Doakes (JD), Iwanna Smith and Hattie Mills; step-children: James Stubblefield, Debbie Davis, Prentiss Adair, Rodney Stubblefield, Patrick Stubblefield, Paris Ursin and Eric Holley; devoted nieces: Ruthie Alexander, Rosheque Gilbert and Michelle Manning; devoted nephews: Michael Tucker and Ronald Moten, devoted sister-in-law: Florine Bailey and a host of additional relatives and friends.
