Marlyon Caldwell was born to Aileen Johnson and Autry Hamilton on February 6, 1951, in Huntsville, TX.
She worked at Huntsville Elementary School, Creekside Retirement Community (Formerly Town Creek Nursing Home) up until her retirement.
Marlyon was an active member of Gospel Hill Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, a praying grandmother, a loving aunt, a caring cousin, a faithful friend, and a hard-working colleague.
On November 27, 2024, the life of Marlyon Caldwell was tragically ended and she began her walk with Jesus.
Marlyon is preceded in death by her mother and father, Aileen Johnson and Autry Hamilton; sister, Shirley Davis; sons, Michael Hamilton and Trace Caldwell, and great-grandchildren, Bryson Bryant and Kealyne Durham Jr.
She is survived by her son David Hamilton, granddaughters, Maygen Treanor, Krishna Bryant and Breanna Hamilton; grandsons, Brandon Hamilton and Joseph Bryant; nieces, Lynette Scott-Taylor and Carrie Davis; nephews, Kerrie Davis, Laertes Davis and Leo Davis, 9 great grandchildren, Aiden, Arianna, Cameron, Miya, Mika, Isaiah, Cali, Quinton and Noah, and a host of additional relatives and friends.
