Louis Clifford Diets passed away on November 26, 2021, after a long illness. He served as a sergeant in the Medical Core of the Air Force for eight years during the Vietnam War. After completing his duty, he moved to Spring Texas to become a registered nurse. He spent most of his career as a supervisor in a psychiatric facility and as an ICU nurse. He met his wife of thirty-nine years while they were attending nursing school. Before building their dream home in Huntsville Texas, they lived in Magnolia Texas for over thirty years.
Lou was known for his generosity, thoughtfulness, and great sense of humor. He had a deep love for his country and followed politics closely. Animals were always welcome in his home, including many strays.
Lou leaves behind his beloved wife: Deborah, daughter: Jenn and husband: Chris, son: Adam Gaines and wife: Shae, son: Jason Horowitz and wife: Lulu, daughter: Rachel Basurto and husband Ed; seven grandchildren; Danielle Williams and husband: Michael, Michael Kubala and wife: Kaytlyn, Mia, Troy, Zach, Adelka, Dean, and beloved dog Penelope. He is proceeded in death by grandsons Tyler and Cody Gaines, parents: John and Gloria Dietz, and twin brother: Herb.
Lou will be greatly missed. In leu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Tunnel to Tower foundation.
