February 2, 1938, in Huntsville, Texas, Green and Ella Riles-O’Bryant, became the proud parents of a baby boy that they named L.C.
L.C. was raised and received his formal education from the Walker County public schools. He was employed for more than 45 years at Walker & Byrd Lumber Co.
L.C. met and eventually married the love of his life Emma Lois Robinson.
L.C. will be remembered as a hard worker and a loving husband and dad who will be dearly missed.
L. C. was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Emma Lois. He is survived by his children: L.C. O'Bryant, Jr., Michael O'Bryant, William O'Bryant, Rodney O'Bryant, Debra Lewis (David) and Sarah O'Bryant; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; sisters: Lu Ella McGowan (Carl) and Annie Mae Lee (Robert); sisters-in-laws: Alice Mae O’Bryant, Betty Joe O’Bryant, Joyce Plattenburg (Henry), Delois Tarver, Nemonia Crawford (William) and Thelma Massey (Thomas); brother-in-law: Charles Sweat (Ann) and a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
