L. Junior Cato Obituary
With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of L. Junior Cato, affectionately known by family and friends as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
L. Junior Cato was born on August 24, 1947, in Athens, Louisiana, to the late James Cato and Etta Mae Cato. He was raised in Arcadia, Louisiana, where he attended school and developed the values of hard work, faith, and family that would guide him throughout his life.
After graduating, Junior moved to Houston, Texas, where he began building a life rooted in dedication and perseverance. In 1974, he met and married the love of his life, Carol Lynn Williams, and together they shared many years of love, companionship, and cherished memories.
Junior was a hardworking and dependable man who faithfully served as an employee of Wyatt's Pool for more than 30 years. His commitment and work ethic earned the respect of those who
knew and worked alongside him. Following his retirement, he relocated to Huntsville, Texas, where he worshipped faithfully at Bible Way Outreach Church.
Those who knew Junior will remember his quiet strength, warm spirit, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. He was a man who valued relationships and found joy in spending time with those he loved. His presence brought comfort, guidance, and laughter to many lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cato and Etta Mae Cato; his brothers, James L. Cato, Abbott Joe Cato, Larry Charles Cato, and James Junior Cato; and his sister, PaulaAbney.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Carol Williams-Cato; his siblings Mattie Nelson, Linda Cato, Brenda Cato, David Cato, Danny Cato, Ever Gene Abney, and Sharon Abney; his loving children, Eric Cato, Victor Cato, and Suzette Cato; a host of treasured grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. He also leaves behind a special nephew, Loyze Cato, who held a special place in his heart.
Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we rejoice in knowing that his legacy of faith, love, hard work, and devotion to family will continue through the many lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his love will continue to guide us.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." - Matthew 25:23.
Forever Loved. Forever Remembered. Forever Missed.
