On January 24th, 1980, an adorable baby boy, Kelvin Deon Brown was born to Minnie and Raymond Brown in Houston, Texas. Kelvin passed away on December 14th,2023 at the youthful age of 43yrs old.
Kelvin attended Betsey Ross Elementary School in a magnet program. He graduated from Waltrip High School in Houston and later attended Texas Southern University. Kelvin worked varies job in the food industry as a manager. His passion was in electronics, and he enjoyed working in that field. In his pastime, he enjoyed boxing and watching football while learning all the fundamentals of the game from his Uncle Tommy.
Kelvin is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: Roosevelt and Willie Beatrice Phipps, three uncles, two aunts, eight first cousins and two second cousins. Kelvin is survived by his mother and father: Raymond and Minnie Brown of Houston, Texas. One bother: Reginald Phipps, Twin sisters: LaRhonda Brown and LaShonda Brown, all of Houston, Texas. Two Nephews: Jalen Donato and Jared Brown (whom he loved dearly) of Houston, Texas. Four uncles, Donald Phipps (Measie) of Point Blank, Texas, Willie Phipps (Jackie) of Humble, Texas, Tommy Phipps of Houston, Texas and Anthony Brooks of Oakhurst, Texas. Three aunts: Juanita Durio of Missouri City, Texas, Lois Ball of Houston, Texas and Helen Twine (Jimmy) of Houston, Texas. Longtime friends: Jason Choice, Anthony Zavala, Reginald Neal, and Kristen Dunn all of Houston, Texas. Goddaughters: Mariah, Makayla and Maci of Houston, Texas Kelvin leaves to mourn a host of cousins, family, and friends
