Katie Ella was born to Eddie Williams Sr., and Ella Mae Culpepper Williams, om December 6, 1928. She had 3 brothers, Roscoe, Eddie, and Birch (Boy Boy) who preceded her in death. She was married to Eugene Anderson, Jr. Together they raised 3 of her brother Eddie’s children as their own; Eddie III, Larry, and Jennifer. Eugene also preceded her in death.
To all of the family that she loved and all of them that loved her, knew her by their personal names for her that included: Kate, Chutna, Tutu and Sister.
Katie had a very important saying that everybody should remember, and that was “Treat people the way you would want to be treated”. She was always the same any time you met her. She lived the life she talked about. Another one of her sayings was, “You can’t lie to God”, He knows all and sees all.
Katie leaves to celebrate and emulate her life well lived, Jennifer (Andre), Eddie, Larry, and Michelle; special nieces: Faye and Calantha; grand nieces: Courtney, Ashley, and Sharia; great-great nephews: Khamori, Braylon, and Ajani; great-great nieces: Bri’nya, Alona, and Jade; a very special cousin: Rubystein Goffney, and a host of other relatives and friends.
