Jimmy Chisolm, Jr. was born on September 7, 1952, to Jimmy, Sr. and Carrie Morning Chisolm, in Eloy, Arizona. At an early age he and his family moved to Trinity, Texas.
In the early 1970’s, Jimmy moved his own family to Dallas, Texas, where he made a good life for his wife and children.
Jimmy worked for many years for Allied Waste Disposal-Industrial Waste, in Dallas, Texas, where he eventually retired.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy, Sr. and Carrie Bell Chisolm; siblings: Tracy Chisolm, Jerry Hopkins, and Verdic Lee Chisolm.
Loved ones left with memories include his wife: Willie Mae Chisolm; children: Vickie Colbert, Monalisa Colbert, Jason Chisolm Johnson, and Jimmy Colbert Chisolm; grandchildren: Amanda, Brittany, DeAndre, Alexandria, Alexis, Jimmy, Jamie, Jamya, Jada, and Jalen; eight great-grandchildren; sister: Lennie Chisolm (Ray Charles); brothers: Robert Chisolm, Patrick Morning, Michael Chisolm, and Christopher Bennett, and a host of other relatives and friends.
