Jewel Dean (McAdams) Gormer

Jewel Dean McAdams – Gormer, was born on July 13, 1958, in Huntsville, TX, a baby girl was born to the late Louis McAdams and Dorothy Ola Ross-McAdams. She was the first of two children born to this union.

Jewel was raised in the Huntsville area and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1976.

Jewel was well-loved by her friends and family and always had a word to say. She enjoyed traveling, trail riding, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Jewel was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved brother, Louis E. McAdams.

Jewel leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted companion: Norris Gormer; her son: Chaz McAdams; stepchildren: Tomeka Williams, Marcus Washington, LaShonne Jones, Glonor Bray, Alandrea Gormer, Raechandra Mozee; nephews: Justin McAdams and Taylor McAdams; devoted cousins: Verna Douglas, Paul Johnson, Ronald Ross, and Alicia Johnson; one goddaughter: Angela Douglas; sister-in-law: Sharon McAdams; mother-in-love: Katie Hall; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
