Jennifer (Green) Glaze

Jennifer Green-Glaze was the third of six children born to Wilmer and Mildred Green on October 20, 1961. Jennifer accepted Christ at an early age. She was a lead singer in the gospel group, The Green Family, from childhood well into late adulthood. She also was one of the founding members of the Unity of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, where she served God in various auxiliaries. Jennifer received her education from Huntsville ISD and was a graduate of the class of 1980.

Jennifer worked for Walmart for 15 years and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 10 years before pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. For two decades, Jennifer dedicated her career as a pediatric nurse, providing compassionate care to children with various illnesses. Her exceptional skills, unwavering dedication, and genuine care earned her the admiration of her supervisors, colleagues, clients, and their families.

Jennifer passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on February 17, 2025. Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Wilmer Green; oldest sister, Phylis Marie Green; and younger brother, Wilmer Green Jr.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Mildred T. Green; Husband, Willie Lee Glaze; Daughter, Renisha Nacole Green-Ashley (Kevin); Son, Terrence Jacoby Green; Special daughter (great-niece), Zariah Michelle Green; Sisters: Mary Ann Green, Wilma Jean Freeman, and Patricia Ann Green. Jennifer is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephew, in-laws, extended family, and friends.
