James Curtis Lewis, known to most as “Buck”, was born on December 6, 1964 to Mollie Wyatt and the late J.C. Lewis, in Stephen Creek, Texas.
James attended school in the Coldspring-Oakhurst C.I.S.D. Later in life James worked for many companies, including working with family and friends as a day laborer.
In addition to his father, James was also preceded in death by his sister: Anita Jean Lewis. James is survived by his loved ones that include his son: James Curtis Lewis Jr. (Dominique); granddaughters: Aubri Lewis and Navaiah Lewis; mother: Mollie Wyatt; of Oakhurst, TX.; brothers: Robert Blanks (Linda), Richard Lewis, T.C. Lewis; all of Oakhurst, TX., Jackie Lewis (Shanell); of Huntsville, TX. and Joe Lewis; of Phelps, TX.; sisters: Edna Gordon (Barry); of Huntsville, TX. and Rita Polk (Willie); of Spring, TX.; special friend: Bertha White; of Point Blank, TX., and a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
