Jacklyn Pearl Maxey McAdams was born on February 2, 1939, in Huntsville, Texas to the late Horace Sr. and Pearl Lene Shaw Maxey. She was the eighth of ten children born to that union.
Jacklyn received her formal education from the local schools in the Huntsville School System.
Jacklyn worked several years with Southwestern Bell as a toll operator. She later worked for Barbara Faulkner for fifteen years.
Jacklyn was quite the sport enthusiast. She could quote the statistics of any sport with accuracy and she was also the family historian, that could tell you anything you needed to know about the family.
Jacklyn was preceded in death by son: Michael Leonard Maxey. She is survived by her sister: Alma Faye Maxey McGuire; of Joliet, IL.; a devoted nephew: Rev. O’Hara Maxey (Peggy); of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law: Karen Maxey; of Huntsville, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, and additional relatives.
