Ann Taylor, age 71, passed away peacefully following complications with sepsis on Wednesday, December 22nd at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born May 5th of 1950 to Brady and Geneva Spencer in Chicago. Her first and only marriage united her to Leamuel Taylor in 1976 after several years together.
Later, Ann became one of Chicago’s first women bus drivers at Chicago Transit Authority. She also served as a sister of the Order of the Eastern Star. As an active member of Trinity's community, Ann was known for both her sass and adventurous demeanor.
Ann won over friends wherever she went, especially at the Trinity VFW during bingo nights, and she treasured her role as both a mother and nana. She will be remembered for the positive light she brought to the lives of many, her love of fast cars, her fine sweet potato pies, her spectacular aim with a gun, her classy fashion sense, and her generosity to anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband: Leamuel, daughters: Nicole, Yolanda and Betty, along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
