On a breezy winter morning in the Cooper Settlement, a beautiful, bouncy baby girl was born to Alfred and Ethel Cooper.
They named her Ethel Mae or Who B, a name only known by her family.
At an early age she left the comfort of her home in Porter Springs, Texas. From there, she traveled to Huntsville, Texas, to live with her beloved uncle, Rev. Jimmie Robinson. In Huntsville she attended public school. While living with her uncle Jimmie ( Pastor of First Church of God in Christ) her faith in God grew, she received the Holy Ghost and was baptized, her walk with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ flourished. For over 60 years, she was a active member of her church and served on many auxiliaries such as; Choir Director, Church Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, Kitchen Captain, Bible Band, Home and Foreign Mission, Y.P.W.W., and Vacation Bible School, she loved her church.
She was employed at Sam Houston State University Food Service department. A caregiver/sitter for many families. She worked many year for the family of Mrs. Carolyn Davison.
Ethel was proceeded in death by her parents: Alfred and Ethel Cooper, Siblings: Arthur Lee Cooper, Odell Cooper, Q.V. Warner, Mary L. Cooper, Lee Roy Groves, John Alfred Cooper, Son: Joseph Edward Holloman.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Eloise Pipkins - Houston, TX), Henry Holloman, Jr.(Susan) - Bloomington, TX, Lottie Harrison (James) - Huntsville, TX, Grandchildren: Angela Montra Hampton - Houston, TX, Jason Henry Holloman - Richmond, TX, Great Grand: Joshua Holloman, Siblings: Jimmie Cooper(Rosetta) - Crockett, TX, John Franklin Cooper, Ruby Allen, and Avernomia Everhart all of - Tyler, TX.
Her Greater Robinson Memorial Church of God In Christ family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
