On November 4,1959, a sweet loving baby girl was born to Alfreda Ross and Archie Bass in Huntsville TX.
Lois accepted Christ at an early age and enjoyed singing in the Good Hope Choir.
Lois never met a stranger; her presence would light up any room. She loved fishing, singing, dancing, and most of all spending time with her family.
She was employed with New Waverly ISD for 17 years, as a cafeteria sub and later hired as the custodian. She was a hard worker and was very dedicated to her job.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Alfreda Ross and father: Archie Bass, Bobby Cooper, Grandmother: Marie Simmons, grandfathers: Clyde Simmons, E. Arthur Ross, uncles: Mac Arthur Ross, Asa Sillette, Goree Ross, Arthur Edward Ross and dear friend: Brenda Bryant Lewis.
Lois leaves to cherish memories, her husband of 41 years, Steve Perry; her children, Alfred Simmons (Amanda), Sharita Tatum (Trevon), and Tanisha Perry (Dexter); grandchildren, Mariah, Amariyah, Kailyn, Kinsey, Anieyah, Aliyah, Alesiyah; great-grandchild, Ace; sisters: Debra Shield (Ken) and Felicia Oliphant (Jerryal), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
