On January 27, 1957, God blessed Johnie and Wandres Thomas with a healthy baby girl whom they named Dianne Thomas.
Dianne received her formal education from the Huntsville Independent School District. She graduated from the Huntsville High School class of 1976. She worked as a certified nurses aide for many years in the Huntsville area. In later years she went on to be a caregiver for her mother until she passed away. She then became a caregiver of her great-grandchildren.
Dianne was baptized at an early age and continued serving the Lord throughout her adult years. She was a member of New Life Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Bobby J. Rigsby where she remained until she moved to Humble, Texas and started attending Fallbrook Church until she departed this life.
Dianne was preceded in death by her loving parents Johnie and Joyce Thomas; sister: Clara Butcher; brother-in-law: Raymond Butcher; granddaughter: Taleyah E’moni Thomas; nieces: Brenda Holden, Deloris Butcher and Anitra Shepard.
Dianne leaves her legacy to be cherished by her daughter: Nikki Taylor (Alfred); son: Eddie Thomas (Lillian); sisters: Darlene Gilbert (Gene) and Sharlie Leigh; brothers: Frank Wiley (LaTedra) and Charles Thomas (Gloria); 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of additional relatives and friends.
