Mr. David Lee Brown, Sr., once a resident of Dayton, Texas, was born on May 14, 1940, to the late Arthur Brown and Lettie Mae Brown. He lived a life marked by dedication, creativity, and love for his family.
David later met the love of his life, Mattie Lee Brown, and they were blessed to share many years of marriage.
David was an accomplished Electronic Technician, proudly serving in his profession for over forty years. His strong work ethic and technical skill earned him respect throughout his career. Outside of work, David found joy in fishing and expressing himself through art. He was an avid fisherman and a talented artist, known especially for his oil paintings, which reflected both patience and creativity.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Lee Brown, beloved son, Samuel Brown; his parents, Arthur Brown and Lettie Mae Brown; his brothers, Roscoe Brown, L.E. Brown, William Brown, and Nathaniel Brown; and his sisters, Velma Scott and Patricia Wynn.
David leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sonja Thomas; his sons: David Brown, Jr., and Michael Brown, Sr.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends who will forever hold him in loving remembrance.
