Clarence Burton Boyd

Clarence Burton Boyd was born on January 27, 1948 to Clarence Burton Jr. and Lyona Jean Boyd, in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He was known to family and friends as Burt.

Burt joined the Navy at the age of 17. He served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam with the Navy as a Field Medic. 

Burt worked for TDCJ for a few years. He then began working with a company that was committed to the removal of asbestos before retiring after several years of service. He was a part of several organizations that included the local American Legion, Elks Lodge and Masonic Lodge.

Burt has lived in the Huntsville and Willis areas for over 45 years.

Burt, who was preceded in death by his son: Clarence B. Boyd IV “Burt”, is survived by his wife: Debbie Pearon-Boyd, son: Jeffrey Boyd along with a host of additional family members and friends.
