Christopher Eric Johnson was born July 10, 1969, in Huntsville, Texas to the late Cleo and Lue Venia Johnson. He was the third of four children, and he always marched to the beat of his own drum.
Chris gave his life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Byrd Lacey at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Chris graduated High School from Huntsville High School as a member of the Class of 1987 and went on to join the United States Navy.
Chris was loved by everyone who ever met him. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back without any hesitation. He was loved by all his nieces and nephews and has taken each of them to the park to play on the swing sets at some point in their lives.
Chris was preceded in death by his father and mother, Cleo and Lue Venia Johnson, older brother, Steve Johnson; and two nephews, Eric Johnson; and Steven Ray Johnson. Left to cherish his memories are his older sister, Leslie Johnson, of Huntsville, Texas; and younger brother, Chad Johnson, of Huntsville, Texas; along with a host of nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; family; friends, and those who loved him most, Kendrick Johnson; Greyson O’Bryant; and Karter Johnson.
