Arthur Lee Morning

March 9, 1943 ~ January 30, 2021 (age 77)

Obituary

On March 9, 1943 a beautiful baby son was born to the late Verlie and Fronzie Morning  in Lovelady, Texas. They named him Arthur Lee Morning. He was the sixth child of this union.

Arthur Lee Morning is known for being the world’s hardest working man alive to the people who knew him and to his family. No one was a stranger to him. He had a heart of gold when it came to helping others. He always greeted you with his big and beautiful smile.

He ran Arthur Lee Morning Logging business successfully for over 50 years. Although he was a man with little education, God blessed him with great talents. He worked seven days a week, day in and day out all of his life. Often times it was night when he left and night when he made it home. In addition to running his logging company, his talent extended to fixing his own motors, he was a welder, drove his own 18 wheelers and other large equipment. Arthur Lee also successfully raised his family of seven children, and he also raised his granddaughter Mercedes.

Arthur’s church affiliation started out at White Rock Methodist Church in Fodice, Texas. It was there that he was baptized.

Arthur was a man with a heart. He departed this earthly life on January 30, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Verlie and Fronzie Morning; brothers: Melton, Verlie Jr., Dan and Louis Morning; sisters: Loretha Mornig and Carrie Bell Chisolm.
