Ara Lee (Thomas) Mills

Ara Lee Thomas-Mills was called home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2020 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1954 to Harry, Sr. and Beatrice Thomas, in Baytown, Texas.

Ara grew up in Huntsville and received her formal education through Huntsville I.S.D. Her church affiliation was with Greater Robinson Memorial Church of God in Christ.

God called Ara home on Monday, August 3, 2020, in Huntsville, Texas. She was preceded in  death by her husband: Leo Mills, Sr.; parents: Rev. Harry, Sr. and Beatrice Hollomon; brothers: Leroy Hollomon, Harry Thomas Jr. and Daniel Thomas.

Ara Lee is survived by her daughters: Rashanda Mills and Natasha Mills; both of Huntsville, Texas; sons: Gregory Thomas, Milton Mills and Leo Mills Jr.; all of Huntsville, Texas and Mosely Thomas; of Big Wells, Texas; sister: Martha Ann Thomas; of Huntsville, Texas;  brother: John Thomas; of Huntsville, Texas; aunts: Cherry O’Bryant, Clara Moring, Henrietta Mack and Hattie Hollomon, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and additional relatives and friends.
