Angelia La’Toya Carroll was a beautiful, kind, and caring woman. She always greeted people with a big smile and the best hugs. She would happily welcome anyone into her home. You always felt the love in the presence of Angelia.
Angelia, affectionately called “Tutu”, was born on September 13, 1985, to proud parents: Belinda Ann Carroll Cox and Louis Demone Cox, in Huntsville, Texas.
Angelia was the eldest of two children. She obtained her formal education briefly within Huntsville ISD upon graduation from Heritage Christian Academy in 2004. She worked several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Amedisys Home Health Care. At an early age, she was affiliated with Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, in Huntsville, Texas. Among her hobbies she enjoyed spending time with family and her three children.
Angelia passed peacefully from this life in the evening of November 26, 2022, after a gradual decline in health. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Lillion Rigsby-Carroll: maternal grandfather: Eddie Lee Carroll, Jr.; paternal grandfather: Worth Cox; paternal grandmother: Margie Lee Mills; maternal uncle: Kenneth Carroll and paternal uncle: Charles Cox.
Angelia leaves to cherish her memory; her loving mother: Belinda Carroll-Cox and father: Louis D. Cox; devoted children: Omarion Carroll, Fantasia Carroll, and Sierra Carroll; dedicated sister: Shalinda Carroll; special niece and nephew: Shamaya Carroll and Cameron Carroll Hightower; devoted uncles: Billy D. Carroll and Curtis Cox; caring aunt: Wanda Addison (Ronnie, Sr.); loyal great-aunts: Pearly Carroll Lyons and Rona Crowder Rigsby, and a host of other relatives and friends.
