Andre Labree Archie was born on January 5, 1971, in Houston, Texas, to Garland Archie and the late Peggy Joyce (Allen) Archie.
Andre graduated from Waltrip Senior high school in 1990. He then majored in business at North Harris County College.
Andre had great work ethics. It was shown through his jobs, where he was a driver for more than 20 years; a job that he loved to do. He also worked for CMS, delivering apartment appliances and then he worked for CMS AC division. In addition to those jobs, he drove for UPS and his last job was working for Hertz Car Rental Company, driving customers to pick up their vehicles.
Andre gave his life to Christ at the age of 16 and was also baptized at the age of 16. He was a member of Northwest Community Baptist Church, now known as Community of Faith under the leadership of Bishop James W.E. Dixon II.
As a child Andre enjoyed fishing with his family; he also enjoyed basketball, bowling, and skating. As an adult he enjoyed shooting pool with friends. As a ladies’ man he enjoyed writing poetry for them.
Even though Andre was a lady’s man, that changed when he met the love of his life, Tori Doyle. To their beautiful union they had a son: De’Aundrell Ja’Vaughn Archie. Andre and Tori married October 12, 2002. Unfortunately, due to health complications the love of Andre’s life passed away and after that he was never the same.
In addition to Andre being preceded in death by his mother: Peggy Joyce Allen-Archie
and his wife Tori Doyle-Archie, he leaves behind his son: De’Aundrell Archie, father: Garland Archie (Joan), sister: De’Tris Archie and a host of relatives and friends.
