On October 9, 1961, God blessed Andrew and Pearlie Mae Winfrey-Issac with a beautiful daughter whom they named Alesia.
Alesia attended school in Walker County and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1980. She was always headstrong and chased after the things she wanted. This was evident when she moved to Dallas to earn her associate degree in fashion merchandising and later to Houston where she received her cosmetology license. Many may remember her beautiful gift wrapping service with her sister at West Hill Mall.
In 1981, Alesia married David Harden and together they had one child: David LeShelton Harden.
Alesia accepted Christ at a very early age and became a member of Hills Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She had a passion for the word of God and answered the calling as a minister of the word in 2007. She also expressed her passion for the Lord by singing. She was a member of Pearl’s Angels with her sisters and brothers for many years.
Alesia was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Raynona Linton, Dewana Doakes and brother: Nolan Issac. She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband: David Harden; son: David LeShelton Harden; brothers: Kirby Issac, Arnold “Glen” Issac and Kennard Issac and wife: Helen Issac and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
