Wandres Joyce Thomas accepted her wings on February 15, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. Wandres, known to most as Joyce, was born on October 18, 1931. She was a loving wife to her husband: Johnie Thomas, who preceded her in death. Joyce was also a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who she leaves to treasured memories with. They include her daughters: Sharlie Leigh, Dianne Thomas and Darlene Gilbert (Gene); sons: Frank Wiley (Latedra) and Charles Thomas (Gloria); sister: Freddie Mae Brown; brother: James Wiley; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren and a host of additional relatives and friends.
