Stoney Junior Granville passed away suddenly on August 17, 2019, in Willis, Texas. He was born on June 21, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Jim and Jessie Granville.

Stoney and his family eventually moved to Huntsville where he attended school. He was a member of the graduating class of 1983.

Stoney loved the Lord and worked diligently within the church for many years. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Willis, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Gerald Wheaton. At the time of his passing he was working with his church in preparation for an upcoming anniversary service.

Stoney was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Veola Granville; niece: Karen Granville and nephews: Jason Ross and Anthony Granville.

Stoney leaves memories with his loved ones that include his sons: Stoney Earl Granville, Marquis Carter, and T'Vondre Carter; grandchildren: La'Tiara, Stoney III, Nevaeh, Janae, Tatiana and Lacrae; brother: R.J. Granville; sisters: Selester Cunningham, Norris Ann Chisolm and Shirley Granville; aunt: Helen Carter; special friend of 22 years: Shirley Johnson, along with additional relatives and friends.
