Sherry Chisolm was born on September 14, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Adman and Moserine Alexander.
Sherry was raised in Houston until she was 6 years old. Eventually her parents relocated to Trinity, Texas to raise their children in a country setting. In her adult years she worked as custodian for many years.
Sherry accepted Christ at an early age in life and reunited with Community Missionary Church. She often attended Lonestar Missionary Baptist Church.
Sherry met and married Verdie Lee Chisolm. To their union 3 children were born.
Sherry answered the call from the Lord on September 27, 2021 in McKinney, Texas. Loved ones that were called home before her included her parents: Adman and Moserine Alexander; husband: Verdie Lee Chisolm; brothers: EJ and Billy Ray Alexander; sister: Eva Jane; her precious great-grandson: Emari Hall and brother-in-law: Rev. Calvin Spencer, Jr.
Sherry is survived by those to cherish all of the great memories: her son: Richard Alexander (Lori); of Trinity, Texas; daughters: Jessica Jones; of Garland, Texas and Tameka Alexander; of Trinity, Texas; ten grandchildren: Davika Alexander; of Houston, Texas, Kionna Ware, Yasmine Lewis, Carla Simmons, Aniya Phillips, Shay'Kedra Alexander; all of Trinity, Texas, Orion Smith; of Garland, Texas, Nicholas Phillips, Malachi and Kevyion Alexander; of Trinity, Texas; seven great-grandchildren: Ava Jackson; of Houston, Texas, Niylah Davis, Jaylen Davis, Kehlani Chatman, Brayden Williams, Zayden Simmons, Essence Goodman; all of Trinity, Texas; sisters: Minnie House (Rene) and Ruthie Alexander; of Trinity, Texas and Delores Spencer; of Nigton, Texas; four brothers: Roy Alexander; of Austin, Texas, Andrew Alexander (Renea); of Balch Springs, Texas, Steve Alexander (LaRonda) and Daryl Alexander; of Trinity, Texas; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
**Sherry is resting in heaven with her loved ones including her special friend and brother-in-law: Rev. Calvin Spencer Jr.**
