Richard Travis Clow Jr., was born on November 29, 1938 to Richard Sr. and Myrtha Clow, in Houston, Texas. He departed this life on July 18, 2019, in Spring, Texas.

Richard received his formal education in Houston, where he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He also attended Texas Southern University, in Houston.

Richard, was a proud member of the United States Navy. He worked different jobs throughout the years. However, he retired after thirty plus years at Wyman-Gordon.

Loved ones that preceded him in death included his parents;  sisters: Betty Jean Davis and Gladys Curry.

His legacy has been left to his devoted wife: Debra Goffney-Clow; sons: Morgan Clow and Richard Johnson; daughters: Lorna Charles and Nikitha Clow; grandchildren: Richard T. Carey, Michael Samuel III, Julius Willkins, Joel Singleton Jr., Keena Clow, Monica Bagwell and Julius Bagwell III; a host of great-grandchildren; mother-in-law: Joyce Goffney, father-in-law: Troy Goffney (Shirley); sister-in-law: Felicha Goffney; brothers-in-law: Darryl Goffney (Peggy) and Jerry Goffney (Michele) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
