Obituary

Opal Louise Pace was born on February 14, 1928 to Elam and Alice Warren in Huntsville, Texas. She was the youngest of seven children.  She grew up, received her formal education in Walker County and was a graduate of Sam Houston High School.


Opal was baptized at an early age and was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.


Opal was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: George "Bob" Warren and Melvin "Son" Warren, Admiral Pace Warren, Erna Warren, Loraine "Dolly" Warren and Ruby Warren-Johnson; nephews: Otis Johnson, Charles Pace Jr., James Pace and Robert Pace Sr.


Opal earned her wings on June 4, 2019, in Willis, Texas. She leaves memories with her loved ones that include her son: Arthur Ray Pace (Joyce); daughter: Margaret Pace DeLaney; grandchildren: Wanda Glaze, Nicole DeLaney and Allison Ross; brother: Mazie Warren; nephews: Jerry Warren, Brian Warren, Larry Warren and Billy Ray Pace; nieces: Kim Warren-Merchant (Sterling), Beverly Warren Shaw, Sandra Pace (Sammy), Paulette Pace and Ruby Alice Johnson, and a host of great nieces, nephews and additional relatives and friends.
