Olan Frank Johnson, was born on December 22, 1922, to Frank and Emily Byrd Johnson. He was born in Midway, Texas. It was in that town that he was baptized at an early age at Antioch Church of Christ. Olan later moved his membership to Huntsville, Texas to Northside Church of Christ, where he remained faithful until his health began to decline.

Olan met and married Ella Lee Rollins in his birth hometown Midway, Texas. They were married and to the union 7 children were born. Ella preceded Olan in death. Eventually he would fined love again following meeting Deborah Bonner. They joined in holy matrimony and remained devoted to each other until his passing on July 8, 2019.

Olan was in addition to his first wife and his parents; he was preceded in death by his children: Reba Jenkins, Ora Lee McKinney, Mervin Johnson and L.C. Johnson; grandchildren: Travis McKinney, Torrey Johnson and Bobby Howard; brothers: Hudtie Johnson, Jake Johnson, Abe Johnson, George Johnson, Edgar Johnson and Julious Johnson; sisters: Feta McQuirter and Pinkie Archie.

Olan is survived by his devoted wife: Deborah Johnson; children: Alma Mills, Ervin Johnson and Deloyce Johnson (Frankye); step-son: La'Morris Bonner (Danielle); sisters-in-law: Tanna Johnson, Mertis Johnson, Loreta Felder (Randy) and Callie Bonner; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
