Mary Lois
White
Sep 18, 1967 — Mar 29, 2021
On September 18,1967, Mary Lois was born to John and Earlie M. White in Conroe, Texas. She was the second child of seven. Mary Lois was known as the gift giver in the family. On special holidays, she would enter the room with gifts for everyone. Many of her family members believed that she worked a second job just to purchase gifts for her family.
Mary was known for many things such as talking, her love for her family, her smile, taking pictures, and her love for music. Mary could and would talk to you for hours. One could fall asleep and wake up and she would still be talking. She loved to smile, so no one really knew when anything was wrong. She always had her smile on display. Taking pictures is what really brought Mary joy. Whenever there was a gathering, Mary would be there ready to capture those special memories. The family always joked that everyone in her pictures would be looking in different directions. That is because, Mary would stand besides others taking pictures, and no one knew which photographer to look at.
Mary attended and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1986. Mary joined the United States Army and completed basic training, however; due to unforeseen circumstances, she was unable to serve. As a child, Mary joined New Zion M.B. Church and was baptized under the leadership of Rev. A.C. Harris. She sang in a gospel group with her mother and siblings.
Mary is preceded in death by her fathers: John White and Ira Taylor; grandparents: Robert and Della Fagan, David and Estelle White and brother: Michael Taylor.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, son: Eddie Flores; of Pasadena Texas; mother: Earlie Collins; of Huntsville, Texas; brother: John White (Mary); of Conroe, Texas; sisters: Brenda Irving (Rick) of Houston, Texas, Kathy Taylor; of Ferris, Texas; Bobbie Liggins (Israel); of Huntsville, Texas, Rose Bussey (Rolando); of Houston Texas, grandchildren: Jelena Flores and Kaiden Flores of Pasadena, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
