Lois Marie Davis was born on February 28, 1952, to Napolean Davis and Lola Ligon in Houston, Texas.

Lois attended school in Houston where she graduated from Jack Yates High School. In later years her work history included Texas Instrument and UTMB in Huntsville.

Lois' church affiliation included Bowen Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church and Open Door Outreach Church in Trinity, Texas.
