Mrs. Linda Fay Antwine Oliphant was born June 29, 1952 to G.B. and Iris Antwine in Huntsville, Texas. She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ into her life as her lord and savior at an early age. She grew up and received her education in Huntsville, Texas at Huntsville High School. She was a member of the Class of 1971. Mrs. Oliphant worked for Sam Houston Dining Services and ARAMARK Dining Services on the campus of Sam Houston State University for over 51 years.

Mrs. Oliphant was preceded in death by her Father; G.B. Antwine Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 47 years, L.A. Oliphant; of Huntsville; mother: Iris Ross; of Huntsville; daughter: VaShunna Jefferson (Wilbert); of Huntsville, son: Jason Oliphant Sr. (Soraida); sisters: Vera Rogers and Jane Archie (Andre); both of Houston, brothers: G.B. Antwine Jr. (Antoinette); of Houston; Paul Antwine and Carl Antwine (Subrena); both of Huntsville; grandchildren: Ke'Lynn Oliphant, Niara Jefferson, Chloe Oliphant, Bryce Jefferson, Jason Oliphant Jr., Nuri Oliphant and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
