Kirg (Buddy) Davis of Leona, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 after reaching the age of 91 years old. After months of his health failing, he died peacefully in the nursing home in Huntsville, Texas. He was born on May 19, 1929 in Leona, Texas to Walter and Kansada Davis.

Kirg worked at Texas A&M in Bryan, Texas to support himself and his family.

Kirg was a good, God fearing man. He loved talking about God. He was a man that was not concerned about himself. He knew he had lived his life.

Kirg was preceded in death by parents; siblings: Edward Davis, Walter Davis Jr., Clarence Davis, Lonzo Davis, Willie L. Donalson, Marie, and Varecce Davis. He leaves to carry on his legacy; his son: Brandon Newman; sister: Corene Sandles, special niece: Earnestine Davis Betts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many dear friends.
