Kent J.
Albert
May 10, 1965 — May 26, 2025
On May 10th, 1965, a beautiful baby boy named Kent Jerome Albert Sr. was born to Clarence and Mattie Albert. On Monday, the 26th of May, Kent departed with his loved ones by his side. He was born in New Roads, LA, and grew up the youngest of nineteen siblings.
Kent attended Rosenwald High School. As a young adult, he began his career in the food service industry, dedicating over thirty years to it. He made many friends and always spoke about "how he was good on the grill." During this time, he met the love of his life Melissa and together they had six children.
Kent loved to cook, play dominoes, and most of all spend time with his grandchildren. He loved watching football and rooting for the New Orleans Saints. He was known for his laughter, smile, and generosity. You may not always understand him, but you could always feel his love.
