On March 21, 1948, a beautiful  baby girl was born to Jocefus Robinson and Annie Mae Davis-Robinson. She was named Jo Ann.

Jo Ann accepted Christ at the age of twelve years old. She united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in 1960 and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor M.C. Battles. She remained a member until her demise.

Jo Ann attended Huntsville public schools where she graduated from Sam Houston High School's class of 1966.

Jo Ann married her high school sweetheart; Luther Boone Jr. Together they raised three children: Mona (Peaches), Meriyaki (Penny) and Luther  III.

Jo Ann was taken home by our Heavenly Father on June 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jocefus Robinson Jr., Jeroy Robinson and Sylvester (Mike) Robinson.

Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband: Luther Boone Jr.; children: Mona (Peaches) Boone-Brooks (Toby), Meriyaki (Penny) Boone and Luther Boone III; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one loving sister: Gloria Dell Smallwood (Albert) and a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
