Jerlyn Caldwell Jackson was born on July 24, 1938 to Calvin A.Caldwell and Obelia V. Davis, in Lovelady, Texas.

Jerlyn received her formal education at Center Grove School. As an adult she displayed good work ethics as she cared for different individuals working as a Nurses Aide.

Jerlyn was married to Sylvester Jackson. Their union lasted for a beautiful 61 years, until his passing in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Jerlyn will be missed by her loved ones that include her daughters: Gloria Jackson and Frances Horace (Emmitt); grandchildren: Jessica English (Otis), Jicarious Jackson (Allison), Christopher Spivey (La'Techia), Demetria Matthew (James) and Teryance Horace (Alyson); great-grandchildren: Zamarion Walker, Jicarious Jackson Jr., Otis English, Jr., Raymond English, Logan English, Journey English, Christopher Spivey, Jr., Khalil Spivey, Javon Spivey and Briana Spivey, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
