Obituary

Howard Jr. was born on August 14, 1950 to Howard Sr. and Norma Dell Williams in Huntsville, Texas.


Howard attended Sam Houston High School in Huntsville, Texas. He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and a frequent visitor with Pine Valley Baptist Church.


Howard's work history included D & D Inc. Highway Crew and ODJ Inc. floor crew as a strip/wax man.


Howard had a heart for people and serving the underprivileged community. He worked numerous hours with Peace at the Cross Outreach Ministry feeding the homeless and planning construction for a Christian retreat facility. One of his God given gifts was singing. "Shadow" as some called him was considered one of the baddest drummers in Huntsville.


Howard was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Sharlene Simmons and brother: Horace Williams.


Howard is survived by his wife: Ruby Walker; son: Cawyama Williams (Demetrica); daughter: Sheredia Walker (Ty); step-daughters: LaQuesha Walker (Cando) and Arressa Walker (Preston); sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary K. Snell (Rev. Glen W.), Deborah L. Goosby (Rev. Larry) and Kimberly A. Morris (Min. Kenneth); aunts: Lovie Williams, Alice O'Bryant and Rosie L. Perry; special cousin: Jeanette Bibbs Johnson; special friend: Freddie Limbrick; extended family; caretaker: Helen Pickens; step-daughters: Tiffany Booker, Tanya Booker Nero, Sherrie Booker and Tamika Lewis, and a host of additional family members and friends.
