Obituary

Celebration of the life of Earline Freeman, better known as "Dottie", was born in Polk County on September 2, 1937, to Mance Freeman Sr. and Hallie Freeman.

Dottie attended Sam Houston High School.

Dottie accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J. W. Williams and her brother Rev. Thomas Freeman.

Dottie worked at various restaurants for many years. She later went on to work for Louisiana Pacific for almost 24 years. Before her retirement, she made employer of the year.

Dottie was considered a "people person". She was always willing to help, whether it was to babysit, welcome people into her home with open arms, or simply just conversation of uplifting words, she was there. Dottie always had time for a good laugh, and by talking with her, you could easily see that. She enjoyed family gatherings and wanted everyone together as much as possible.

Dottie is preceded in death by her parents: Mance, Sr. and Hallie Freeman: her brothers: Charlie Freeman, John Lister Freeman, and Roy Freeman; sister: Lou Ann Sims and a sister-in-law: Erma Jewel Freeman: two children, son: Ronald Freeman and daughter: Leatha Freeman, and a beloved friend: Ruth Willis.

Dottie leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Danny Freeman (Hazie), Evonne Freeman-Murray( Terry), Sandra Freeman (Albert), Barbara Freeman, Jesse Freeman (Lisa), Kenneth Freeman (Amie), Deborah Freeman Woodall, Kelvin Hines (Shante), and Rosalind Freeman; thirty-five  grandchildren, sixty-five great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; one sister: Katie Hall; six brothers: Mance Freeman Jr, Lee Authur Freeman, Rev. Raymond Freeman, Rev. Thomas C. Freeman, Robert Freeman and Maurice Freeman (Edna), and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
