Dyanne Franklin Massie-Hightower was born on January 6, 1953, to the late Katie Lee Johnson-Franklin and Harold Franklin. She attended Huntsville High School and was one of 13 siblings, with four siblings still living.

Dyanne lived a life filled with love, family, and memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her. She is preceded in death by her late parents, Katie Lee Johnson-Franklin and Harold Franklin, and twin children, whose memory remained a special part of her life and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, three of whom are still living, Hendrea Massie (Tracy), Shinetta Massie (James), and La’Tisha Massie; grandchildren: Kiana Massie, Ke’Aire Massie, Jaren Massie, and James Guillen, Jr., as well as four siblings and a host of other relatives and loved ones.

Dyanne was truly a beautiful soul whose presence brought love, warmth, and meaning to the lives of those around her. She had a heart for her family and created memories that will never be forgotten. Her strength and love made her someone special, and those who knew her will forever treasure the time they were blessed to share with her. Though Dyanne has departed this earthly life, her legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, siblings, family, and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Her beautiful soul has left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will live on for generations to come
