Darrin Fredrick Simmons was born on July 3, 1968 to Doris and Alfred Simmons.

Darrin (a.k.a.-Deke) received Christ at an early age and he loved the Lord. Darrin loved singing gospel songs with his sister and brother.

On April 13, 1995, Darrin united  with Tracey Wilson. To this union 2 children were born; Donovan and Tiarra.

Darrin was preceded in death by his mother: Doris Faye Simmons; brother: Michael Anthony Simmons; grandmothers: Georgia B. Simmons and Katherine Moore; grandfathers: Tommie Lee Simmons and John Hill.

Darrin leaves to mourn his memories his wife: Tracey Wilson Simmons; father: Alfred Simmons; step-mother: Andra Simmons; children: Courtney, Darrin Jr., Donovan, Deandre, Tiarra and Darrin (Bud); sisters: Vicky Hill Simmons, Shannon  and Sabrina Jackson and Kerry Brogan; grandson: Lorenzo Torres; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, very special and dear to his heart: Kimberly Wallace and many additional friends.
