On March 8, 1934, a beautiful baby girl was born to the late Henry Holoman and Emma Jean Glaze, in Walker County. The parents named her Cherry Lee.
Cherry grew up and received her formal education in the public schools of Huntsville.
In regard to her faith in God, it was very strong. She united with Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member.
Cherry worked at the Chef Restaurant for 20 years.
People will remember Cherry for her love for her family and friends and for enjoying her hobby of growing and caring for beautiful flowers in her yard.
Cherry was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Holoman and Emma Glaze, and daughter: Alice Bradford.
Cherry leaves to cherish her precious memories, daughters: Patricia Brooks (Anthony), Jeanette Evans (Jerry), and Bertha Davis (Undra); son: James O'Bryant Jr.; grandchildren: Sherry Byrd, Brenda Willis, Calvin O'Bryant, Jennifer Davis, Ladana O'Bryant, James Leon O'Bryant, Tracie Davis, Sharonda Evans, Jonathan Evans, Joshua Evans, and Dewayne Bradford; sisters: Clara Moring and Hattie Holoman; sisters-in-law: Lue Ella McGowan, Annie Mae Lee, Alice Mae O'Bryant, and Betty Joe O'Bryant, a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, very special friends: Norma Dell Howard, John Earl Williams, and Suzanne Hewitt, along with many additional friends.
